Entry: Floating down a river named emotion Friday, February 20, 2009

Emotion doesn't travel in a straight line.  Like water, our feelings trickle down through cracks and crevices, seeking out the little pockets of neediness and neglect, the hairline fractures in our character usually hidden from public veiw.
Beware the dark pool at the bottom of our hearts.  In its icy, black depths dwell strange and twisted creatures it is best not to disturb.  In probing into murky waters we expose ourselves to the predators lurking therein.

this quote only makes what i only recently learned more true. you can't hide from your emotions forever....they will surface, and they will bring you to the darkest places. the only way out is to embrace them. and after that experience, you learn to embrace you emotions.

theorectically speaking, that's way should have been learned. i am a very very slow learner. but i'll get it right...eventually. (=

miss ya!
